Speech – 1

Honorable Principal Mam, Honorable Manager Sir, Honorable Professors, Parents, and My Dear Colleagues!

Today we all have gathered here to celebrate the auspicious occasion of Teacher’s Day where we have reached the end of this beautiful celebration. I would like to thank all our respected teachers on behalf of every student in this college who have played a big role in making our future bright and our fellows for organizing such a big event and giving us this opportunity. I would also like to thank the Managing Committee.

In this way, I feel very proud to have the opportunity to give a speech to thank my respected teachers. There is a big limit of words in respect of teachers but still, I will try to express my views and thank all the teachers.

As we all know in India we celebrate Teacher’s Day on 5th September on the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan who was a teacher himself, our former President of India, a profound philosopher and statesman. He wanted his birthday to be celebrated as “Teacher’s Day”. On this day all the students have an auspicious occasion to thank their respected teachers. Today many students have organized poetry, speech, dance performance and many other programs to thank their respected teachers which is really great to watch.

A teacher is not only a person who teaches educational lessons to his students but he is also a guide for the student. The word “Guru” is used in India for a teacher which is a Sanskrit word and in this word “Gyu” means darkness and “Ru” means one who removes darkness. A teacher helps the students in every aspect of their life. They are the future builders of the students. They help the students in achieving their goals of the students. Behind a successful person is the guidance of great teachers who show their students the right path. A teacher scolds his students just to brighten his future and his scolding is right in its place too.

We should also not forget to thank our parents because they play the most important role in our life. We all know that our parents are the first person whom we consider as our first teachers in our life. He taught us how to walk and how to eat. Thus I would also like to thank our respected parents who did so much for us and are still doing so much. It is very difficult to survive in this world without parental guidance and love.

I would also like to thank our respected Principal Madam and Manager Sir who provided us such great and talented teachers and also provided such good opportunities to sharpen our talents.

With this I would like to end my speech and special thanks to our respected Principal Madam, Management Committee, respected professors and respected parents for making this event a memorable day.

Thank you. Good day to you all.

Respected Chief Guest, Honorable Manager Sir and my dear friends!

Today we all have gathered here on a special occasion to celebrate the 5th anniversary of our women’s NGO. On behalf of every woman associated and supported by this NGO, I present to you here with a proposal to thank everyone involved in this NGO. Inaugurating an NGO is not an easy task and it is not possible without the help and support of our NGO with all the people involved.

We all know that there are still many places in India where women are exploited and dominated by a patriarchal society. In these societies women have to live their life according to their parents, husband, family and society. They have no right to do anything against their family and society. They are victims of violence both physically and mentally. The sex ratio is unfavorable in many states of our country. Even today there are many cases of female feticide and female murder. It is a shame for the societies where they are practiced.

Every human being has come into this world only through the sacrifices of his mother and his mother is also a woman. A woman is a mother, sister, daughter and what not. She sacrifices her own happiness to please her family. A woman only needs respect from society. There are many such cases of domestic violence, which is a very shameful crime. We cannot even imagine how many women are still victims of domestic violence in this world. In many places, they are victimized by their husbands and family members for dowry. People classify them on the basis of their dressing sense and lifestyle. Many women here do not have the freedom to dress as per their wish. I would also like to thank those women who are living their life according to their wish.

I would like to thank all the parents across the world who support their daughters and give them the same respect and respect as their sons. Parents who treat their daughters and sons as equals know that there is no real difference between son and daughter and that they both deserve equal love.

I would also like to thank all the people all over the world who are working for the welfare of women as well as those who are supporting women. We need maximum support of people to spread awareness about the empowerment of women. I would like to thank all the women who showed courage to fight for their rights and freedoms. It would not have been possible to make our NGO a success without their fighting spirit. We will try to provide freedom to all the women who are still suffering.

With this I want to end my speech and I hope that this day will awaken a new spirit in our soul to fight for the rights of women.

Thank you! Good day to you all.

Honorable Chief Guest, Honorable DCP Sir, Dear Organizers and Visitors!

Today we are gathered here to celebrate the success of the initiative ‘Manavta Prem’. This project started two years back and I am extremely happy to share that the project has been a huge success. It is indeed a matter of honor and happiness for us and I would like to thank all the people who have contributed in making this project a success.

It is on this day that our NGO was established 10 years ago with the aim of protecting young children, minors and women from trafficking. Although we are an independent organization, we are highly appreciated by the local residents. The local authorities and local police in this area and other areas where we operate have also supported us. Two months back we received a complaint from the parents of some school students that their children were constantly seeing a beggar child crying outside the school gate. There was some injury on that child’s body. We sent some of our workers to that area to know more about this incident and they too saw the same thing. We then took the help of the local police to question the child further.

We came to know that the child was separated from his parents and some strangers forced him to beg. We went to the address mentioned by the child and rescued around 50 children from there. These kids are with us now and we will try to send them to their parents as soon as they remember their home address. Our NGO works for the benefit of underprivileged children and we protect them against crimes like child trafficking, exploitation etc. We run many schools in remote locations which work round the clock for the education of homeless children who are unable to attend school due to some or the other reason.

I would like to give a special thanks to DCP Mr. A for deploying policemen in such areas where begging is more prevalent. The department has always helped us whenever we go to raid or investigate. We would also like to thank the industrialists Mr. B, Mrs. C and Mr. D & Sons for their continued support in the form of donations. We use donated money to open schools, buy essentials for children, set up medical camps. We would also like to thank the school authorities and the teachers of our area who work as guest teachers in our schools. Also thanks to the residents of this locality who support young children not as domestic help but for their education and other basic needs. In fact, some of these youth youths work with us on a voluntary basis.

We have formed groups of five each, stationed each group in remote areas of all the states from where children and women are imported in large numbers for begging, prostitution, domestic help, etc. The parents of these remote areas are so poor that they cannot even afford the care and education of all the children. We give a source of income to such women through arts and crafts. By providing basic education in these areas, we can make families and their children self-reliant.

I agree that all this would not be successful without your help. Let’s keep up the good work.

Honorable Chief Guest, Respected Visitors, and My Dear Team Members!

I feel privileged and honored to have the opportunity to express my thanks on this memorable occasion.

First of all I would like to thank the authority for showing faith in our company and telling about this great work of fitting pipeline in villages and remote areas of our state. I am extremely excited to announce the successful completion of this project. There are 25 villages where we have installed water pipelines. These villages used to face water shortage every summer, even the wells installed in the villages dried up in the months of May, June and July. The women of these villages had to travel 2-3 kilometers daily to fetch water from the nearby pond in which the water is dirty and polluted. This increases the spread of diseases like diarrhea and cholera affecting these villages, especially children and the elderly.

I would like to thank the Ministry of Drinking Water and Sanitation for its expert guidance and supervision without which this mission could not have been successful.

It was a personal mission for me as it was extremely disappointing to see that some people of our state were struggling so much to meet one of the basic needs like water. Initially, the plan was to install a water pipeline and connect two villages at a time but our company was committed to free the people of all these villages from the curse of thirst and dryness. We embarked on this project on a large scale, investing large amounts, involving multiple employees, engineers, and workers to accomplish the mission at the same time.

I cannot help but thank the investors, employees, laborers and workers who have worked with both heart and mind to make this project a success.

I would like to thank Mr. A of NGO XYZ for setting up mobile medical camps in these villages. People here are very poor and struggle a lot to earn their livelihood. Our company has decided to donate 10% of its profit every month to XYZ NGO. This money will be used to open permanent schools and hospitals in these villages.

We are planning to open cottage industries and also provide employment to rural men and women who can start earning their livelihood. Children can go to school and people will benefit from timely treatment which will reduce the mortality rate.

It is an honor for me to thank the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Textiles, Handicrafts, and Ministry of Health & Family Welfare for allowing the opening of schools, cottage industries, and hospitals in these areas because without their continued trust and support all this would be an honor. It was impossible to succeed.

Our mission is to make every family independent by the year 2020. Our company will personally oversee the performance of industries, schools and hospitals for the next five years to support each type of work.

For this, I will definitely need dedication and commitment from the employees of my company. With this I end my speech. Thank you for listening to me with so much patience.

Thank you.
