Thank You Speech for Teachers’ Day 2021 in English

speech 1

Respected Principal Sir, I congratulate all of you, fellow teachers and my dear students!

First of all I would like to express my thanks to my fellow teachers and the Principal Sir. Today is 5th September and this day has a special place in my heart. 20 years ago today, on 1st September, I started teaching in this school and 4 days after that there was the occasion of Teacher’s Day, on which I was called to give a speech.

Today, even after 20 years, I am again at the same place and the school is the same, the teachers and staff are almost the same, just the faces of the students change every year. By the way, when students pass out from here, we feel happy and proud, although along with it there is also the sorrow of being separated from them.

By the way, I do not want to get emotional today because today is an occasion of happiness and celebration. First of all, I would like to thank all my students for organizing this wonderful program. I am sure you all would know about Teacher’s Day and why it is celebrated on 5th September. Nevertheless, for your information, let me tell you that on this day in 1888, Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan was born, who was a great philosopher and scholar, who later became a very famous teacher and after independence he became the Vice-President of India. And also became the President.

Although every year this day is celebrated as Teacher’s Day, but this year I would like to dedicate this day to my dear students. I would like to thank all my students from this platform for giving me so much love and respect like my parents. I consider myself very fortunate to have such a relationship with my students. Yes, I must admit that sometimes I get annoyed and behave strictly with all of you, but I do this so that you do not deviate from your path and focus on your studies. School is the cornerstone of your first step of success, so I wish you all to achieve progress in your life.

This year the students of our school participated in the national level competition for the first time and got three gold medals and two silver medals. It was a very proud occasion for all of us. I would like to thank all my students who along with their studies saved their time and practiced for the competition.

On this day, I want to tell all the students that all of you must take part in other activities like sports. Study should be your priority but you should also not forget to enjoy your life. You must take part in a work of your choice, whether it is sports or puzzle, art, music, drama, painting, etc. Will help you in becoming and achieving progress in life.

I wish you all the best and thank you!

speech 2

Respected Principal sir, fellow teachers, all the staff and my dear students, all of you are welcome in this program.

First of all, I would like to thank every participant of today for participating in today’s program. Like every year, this year also we are celebrating this event. Which has special significance for everyone, especially for schools, today is 5th September and this day is celebrated every year as Teacher’s Day all over the country. September 5 is the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, who was a great scholar and teacher, as well as a well-known philosopher and statesman who was also the first Vice President of India and the second President from 1962 to 1967.

I thank all the students for organizing this program in such a grand manner. This day holds great importance in the history of our school because 30 years ago today our school was established on this day. Since then we have taught many students and they have passed from our school with very good marks and in today’s time are working in good positions in big companies. There have been many such occasions when some students did not get their desired results, but still one thing which has always continued is the dedication of the students towards their goals and studies.

From today’s platform, I would like to thank all of you students for participating in other activities like dance, sports, music, and art apart from studies. Presently our students represent our school at the national level which is indeed a matter of pride.

When I became a part of this school 10 years ago today. Then I had doubts about whether the students would understand me. But I feel very happy to say that the students of this school are very intelligent, discreet and have great respect for the teachers. Sometimes we teachers are very strict and you scold people when you do not perform according to our expectations. Today I would like to tell you that we have high hopes for you. So that’s why you can understand why we sometimes treat you harshly and always expect good behavior from you. Your parent or guardian has great faith in our school and expects you to bring glory to their name. He has selected this school for you out of many schools and he wants you to do well in your subjects like Dr. Radhakrishnan did the ideal of all of us.

Also, thank you all for coming here and making this event so wonderful. The students of our school are very dear to us and today our school has reached this place only because of them. Along with this, every year it is achieving new successes.

This is a very wonderful platform for me where I can thank all of you students today and hope you will work in the same way in future and achieve progress.

I only pray that you all continue to achieve such success in your life.

Thank you all for listening so patiently to this speech of mine!

speech 3

Respected teacher sir, fellow teachers and my dear students, a warm welcome to all of you in today’s program!

Today we all have gathered to celebrate that holy day, which holds a special place in our heart and consciousness, yes that is Teacher’s Day. Every year on 5th September we gather in this ground to pay tribute to the great teacher and former President of India Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, who was born on this day.

Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan was one of the greatest teachers of independent India, as well as the first Vice-President and second President of our country. Every year on the occasion of Teacher’s Day, teachers are honored for their hard work and the work done for the future of the students in the schools of our country.

Today, through this platform, I would like to thank my students for showering me with so much love and respect. Apart from this, I would also like to thank all of you students on this occasion on behalf of the entire school administration and teacher group for organizing this program in such a grand manner. I was seeing that after school hours, students were taking extra time to prepare for this program.

Teachers are highly respected in India for centuries and Teacher’s Day is the occasion when teachers and students thank each other. I am not saying that we are the best creatures on earth, we also do not have any flaws or weaknesses. That is why it is very important that teachers never stop learning and always try to be better.

Teacher’s Day is celebrated in different ways in different schools. In some schools, students dress up like their favorite teachers and take care of the classes and the same teachers and other students listen to them calmly. Such experiences remind us of our school days and at the same time the students also understand the challenges of a teacher. This day is a good opportunity for teachers and students to interact. I try to talk to every student in my class and want them to share their thoughts with me, so that I can understand their problems better.

We have always organized the teachers day program in a fun way and the credit goes to the students of our school. Even though the programs have been decided by the school authority, the students have done all the preparations for it and it shows the talent of the students of our school. Along with this, our students are very cheerful and good, who very easily adjust between their studies and other activities.

Through this platform I want to tell you that I hope you will do your best in your examinations and bring laurels to the parents and the school. It is very important that you also take part in your other activities like sports, dance, musical arts etc. so that your overall development can take place.

I wish you all the best for your future.

Thank you all for giving me your valuable time!

Shor and Long  Thank You Speech for Teachers’ Day

Respected Principal Sir, Colleagues, Dear Teachers and Dear Students Hearty congratulations to all of you!

Thank you all for coming here, today is a very important day for all of us. Today we all have gathered here in our school to celebrate the annual teacher festival.

First of all, I would like to thank my respected Principal Sir, who ordered the students and teachers to celebrate Teacher’s Day with such enthusiasm.

It gives me great pleasure to stand here in front of you today and thank all of you students for organizing this event. Teachers have been a special place in the hearts and minds of students in our country since ancient times, in earlier times in our country teachers were called gurus and given equal status to God. Though times have changed, yet I am very happy that in our country teachers are still respected as before.

Every school in India celebrates this festival of Teacher’s Day and students celebrate this special day to thank their teachers. This program is celebrated on 5th September every year since 1962. The birthday of Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan is celebrated as Teacher’s Day. It is very important for all of us to know about Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, he was a great teacher as well as a philosopher, scholar and a well-known politician. Apart from this, he also became the first Vice-President and second President of independent India. He was born on 5 September 1888 and in honor of his great personality, Teacher’s Day is celebrated all over the country on the occasion of his birthday.

I am very happy that his contribution to the education system of India is recognized by the students all over the country, for which he celebrates this occasion with great enthusiasm. I completely believe in the fact that the students of our country are the cornerstone of our country and along with this they must necessarily adopt the thoughts of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan.

I am very happy to see that the students of our school have great respect for the teachers and obey everything we say. We want our students to work hard and become the best so that they bring laurels to the school and their families. That is why we do not put any pressure on our students and want them to maintain harmony in their studies and activities. This is possible only when he takes part in other activities like sports, art, music, drama etc.

It is not much time for the establishment of our school, yet we are trying our best to take our school to the national level so that the students here get more pleasure in studying.

Along with this, I am also very happy to inform that we are going to start a dance academy for aspiring students in the school premises. This academy belongs to a well-known dance school, where all types of contemporary and traditional dance forms will be taught. Students interested in this subject can get all the information about it from the management and can fulfill their interests.

Now I would like to allow all of you to conclude your speech and hope you have a nice day.

Thank you all for giving your valuable time!
