Good morning to you all.

As you know today our Yoga Group Foundation has successfully completed one year so today’s function has been organized to celebrate the achievement of this one year. On this auspicious day, please allow me to express my heartfelt congratulations and gratitude to our members of the Yoga Group Foundation who worked hard to spread awareness among people and provide the necessary resources for this one year session. Also I would like to thank all the people of the society who did not miss a single day and looked excited to know this art form and spread this education among others.

I, Nandini, your host of today’s event and one of the co-founders of this group, would like to give a short speech on yoga and the science and essence behind it.

Many of us do yoga on a daily basis but how many of us actually know what this art is and why it is done? It is basically a method of achieving balance in our body i.e. increasing strength, increasing flexibility and attaining spirituality etc. Yoga also advocates a non-materialistic way of living. Yoga is more accurately described through the use of the Sanskrit word “asana” which means the practice of various types of physical postures or asanas.

Various prakara asanas are an essential part of yoga. Usually a yoga class starts with simple breathing exercises and then progresses to the addition of soft asanas followed by the more difficult yoga poses. Yoga asanas are a combination of breathing methods including guided mediation taking into account all body parts.

There are different aspects for which the instructor guides you, these include standing, sitting, leaning back, forward leaning, upside down posture as well as twisting. Apart from these there are other different types of yoga which are specially tailored to the different needs of the people. For example there is hatha yoga which is the most popular form of all yoga asanas and also deals with breathing exercises and physical postures. There are two other types of yoga for those who want to gain spiritual experience in life – Karma and Bhakti Yoga.

It is an art that has been known to humanity for thousands of years and has a history dating back to 3,000 BC. is old. Since then it has been practiced by various spiritual masters and since contemporary times Yoga taught in various schools and colleges is seen as a discipline. The definite goal of yoga is to help a person to rise above himself and achieve transcendental experience. Even in the Bhagavad Gita it is written, “A person attains to yoga when he is finished with his own mind and the mind completely independent of disciplined desires.” Though it is not a religion but it is definitely a way of right life which works to achieve a healthy mind as well as a healthy body.

So unleash the power of yoga, feel energized and develop enthusiasm in life.

Honorable Principal, respected chief guest, teachers and my dear students – Greetings to all!

I, your senior yoga teacher, warmly welcome everyone present here for today’s weekly program in which yoga is the main attraction. Before I start I would like to give a short speech on Yoga to spread more awareness about this topic amongst all of you.

Exercise trends come and go over time but in the name of practice, no exercise is as stable as yoga and has been in practice for more than 5000 years. Yoga helps to burn calories and strengthen our muscles. It is an all-inclusive workout that focuses on both mind and body. All kinds of exercises and exercises are done under yoga training which includes deep breathing, relaxation and meditation etc.

There are currently over 100 different types of yoga known that are hard and intense while others are easy and relaxing. Today there are six different forms of yoga that are famous:

  • stubbornness – This form is primarily related to yoga and combines a sequence of basic needs, including breathing.
  • configuration – Contains different sequence of yoga poses to easily move from one yoga to another.
  • Iyengar It is a form of yoga that uses ropes such as straps, blocks and chairs to help him move his body with perfect balance.
  • bikram – Also called “Hot Yoga”. This type involves a sequence of 26 yoga exercises that are performed in a heated room with a high temperature.
  • Power It is a fast, high intensity exercise that gives the right shape to the muscles.
  • Ashtanga – This yoga type combines extraordinary breathing techniques.

You just name it and you’ll get a lot! Beautiful physique, glowing skin, well built flexible body, regulated weight, healthy health and calm mind – the benefits of yoga are all this. However, most yoga is often not limited to asanas. Its benefits are recognized only at the physical level and that is why we tend to overlook its greater benefits as yoga works to bring the body and mind together. When both your body and mind are in sync with each other then life becomes more satisfied and happier than before.

So everyone should practice yoga and make it a part of daily routine to get a strong, flexible and supple body. Its regular practice helps in improving your body posture while you walk, sit or sleep. This improper posture will help you reverse the pain that started in your body.

Meditation when combined with yoga can help you hone your cognition skills so that you can quickly figure out what needs to be done so that you can get positive results. This work works wonders and you can feel it only if you keep practicing it in a regular way without stopping.

Remember Yoga is a never ending process. The deeper you go into it, the more useful you will get. That’s all I have to say.

good Morning ladies and gentlemen!

I warmly welcome all of you to our Yoga Auditorium and today is a very special day for our “Stay Fit Organization” as our organization has successfully completed five years by motivating people to stay fit through Yoga. is for. As the manager of this organization, I am privileged to host this event. As you know our organization is all about yoga and fitness so in this context I would like to say few words about yoga and hope it will help in motivating young youth to stay fit.

First of all it is very important to understand what is Yoga? It is the connection between the body and the mind or we can also say that it is a way of creating a balance between the mind and the body. Yoga originated in India and hence is known worldwide as “Yoga”. Today the knowledge and practice of Yoga is spreading all over the world which is a very good thing. In yoga, we get to learn about many asanas of the body, such as the actions of keeping ourselves fit, for example, sitting, standing, bending forward, leaning backward, standing upside down, etc.

Many yoga postures require flexibility like plow pose, pigeon pose, upper bow pose, fish pose etc. Falls which include mountain pose, chair pose, triangle pose etc. As you know yoga postures are innumerable, so the benefits of doing yoga are also innumerable. Practicing yoga is very beneficial and its practice has the ability to cure many ailments like respiratory problems, stomach problems, diseases related to digestive system.

It helps to remove negativity and mental diseases from our body. It helps to reduce stress level and increase awareness. Especially for kids it helps in building concentration power and focus. It can be said that it is one of the best medicine to treat respiratory problems and also helpful for ailments like abdominal pain and infections. It also helps in improving the image of the person because automatically if a person is disease free then he will look good and healthy.

After becoming aware of all these benefits I hope that many of you are ready to practice yoga to lead a healthy life as we all know that health is wealth.

Since today is a special day for our organization so today our organization is giving three days free trial session to all the people who are interested in yoga. I am assuring you that this is going to change your life as I have experienced it myself. Yoga is the best way to stay healthy and maintain the balance of the body.

Respected Principal, respected teachers and my dear friends Good morning to all of you!

As we all know that today is June 21, 2017 and this date has been declared as “International Day of Yoga” by “United Nations General Assembly”. This date was proposed by our honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. It is said that on this day the first yogi (Adi Guru) started imparting the knowledge of yoga to mankind and became the first yoga guru.

As a head girl of this school, I have had the opportunity to say a few lines to highlight the importance and benefits of Yoga. I hope this helps you to understand about Yoga as an important part of your everyday life.

Many people wonder what is yoga and how can it help in maintaining physical and mental stability? Yoga is a process for the union of body and mind or we can say that it is a process of maintaining stability between body and mind. In ancient times, yoga was a way of gaining knowledge. In the world of high technology and hectic life, Yoga is playing a vital role in maintaining the health of our body and mental stability of mind. It includes various body movements and postures which we call “asanas” in Sanskrit. Some kriyas or asanas are complex so they require proper implication but some are also very simple which can be practiced even at your home. Many people choose to join yoga classes but some people who do not feel comfortable in classes so they can also buy yoga DVDs which are available in the markets.

Different types of Yoga Kriyas have been formed to solve different problems of the people. Many people do yoga on a daily basis so they get to know about the positive changes and effects of yoga in their body and life. There is no immediate effect but positive results can be seen if it is done on a daily basis. Just like sleeping and eating are an integral part of our life, in the same way yoga should also become an integral part of our life.

The benefits of yoga are endless and it has the potential to cure many diseases. Many people are practicing yoga in today’s world to stay healthy. Yoga proves to be a great option for older people who cannot practice yoga intensively. In yoga we practice different postures depending on our difficulty. We should start yoga with a simple pose and then move forward with one difficult yoga action after another.

Many people and even young children face respiratory problems due to air pollution and lack of fresh air. Yoga includes a variety of exercises that have the potential to treat respiratory problems. It helps in curing not only respiratory but many other diseases related to our digestive system, stomach problems, joint problems etc. For example “tilt kriya” is done to strengthen joints and muscles, “balancing kriya” is done to strengthen arms and legs and “sit-down yoga kriya” is done for flexibility and reducing mental stress. Apart from this, there are many other different types of activities involved in this.

With this I want to end my speech and I request our respected Yoga Guru to start the Yoga Day. Now you can assemble your yoga mat.
